All of Iraq's sects share the same underlying holy book, the Qur'an. Iraq will overcome feuding between sects to create a united country when they correct their understanding of what the Qur'an says. That is a simple matter of lifting up the truth of what is clearly written in their Qur'an. Whether it will be a peaceful country depends on the government and coalition will let the nation be ruled by what is written or not. What is written may surprise you as you realize how easy it could have been to bring peace.
For those who do not understand the power of a holy book, consider that these people believe in a God who sees all they do. The obedient people will enjoy peace and abundance in a garden paradise with pure spouses. The disobedient will suffer a horrific life, even after death. They are commanded to fight against evil and prize the good. This is the underlying understanding in all God's holy books to all religions.
It is not necessary that they agree on boundaries because once the religion becomes one, the government would be one and boundaries will not matter to them, though they will star in their areas. Now it looks like these people cannot come together. However, none of them are following the word God He gave to their revered prophet Muhammad, and we see how repulsive insulting him is. We saw death threats by Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini against Salmon Rushdi for his book Satanic Verses when the book was published in 1988, calling the book blasphemy and condemning him to death for "insulting Islam, the prophet Muhammed and the holy Koran." More recently we saw the condemnation and violence related to the Danish cartoonist for insulting their prophet. Once they realize that they are insulting their prophet and the God who sent him, they will bow before the word of God and submit for that is true Islam.
This fervor will unite the people. The true message of the Qur'an, repeated in many ways is to follow the whole Bible. They are expecting a Mahdi who will purify their religion and unite the world with Islam. Purifying their religion means it is not now pure. The correction will make true Islam which means submission to the will and word of God and that will take over the world. Islam of today is not submitted much as Christians are not following Jesus and Jews are not following Moses and the Prophets.
No one needs to fear true Islam. Muhammad was a prophet mostly to Christians and Jews who were not following the whole Bible, even as it is today. Now the Muslims must submit to God's word to their prophet and it will be the same as God gave to the Christians and Jews; God said to follow the Bible they had then in 600+AD. Muslims have been told the Qur'an contains the Bible; the truth is it only points to the Bible to be followed and judged by. (Qur'an references are at end of article.) Other major religions are also told to do all things according to God's laws. Wherever Muslims will be in the world, they will not be against other religions; if they fight at all, it will against those who try to prevent them from following their religion, as it is now.
Muhammad is called the seal of the prophets, not the last prophet; for God is always sending His word of correction. Muhammad is like a president's seal, protecting and giving authority to the prophets before.
The truth of the Qur'an is being lifted up and will be lifted up in a greater measure, with or without the governments' approvals. That will be when the decision will be made whether this unity of all Muslims and all Iraqis will be for peace or greater war. Keep in mind, all Muslim nations have the same Qur'an; they just number it differently.
The Gospel of God and Isa-Jesus has always been "repent, and follow God's word through His prophets." The message in Qur'an 7:158, 159 (or 6:157, 158) has been misunderstood. "Muhammad says I am a messenger believe in Allah (God) and His Messenger,who believes in Allah and His words; and follow him that you may be rightly guided." Muhammad is speaking of a" him" "whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them."(That would be God's word through Isa-Jesus) Muhammad is I, Isa-Jesus is him. The newer Qur'an has changed it to the prophet who cannot read or write, trying to deceive the people. That is not the original and Muslims will be upset over the change that was made by thir leaders and printers. I saw the change in the bookstore by the Dome of the Rock and informed the Mufty Abu Gado in 1996.
Qur'an, Ahmadiyya Numbers: 5:68, 69 ".Say, O people of the Scriptures, you stand on nothing until you observe the Torah and the Gospel and what has been sent down to you from your Lord." This confirms Jesus' words, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4. Nothing is so clearly God speaking than the Books of Moses called Torah or the Law. Qur'an 39:24 refers to Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 in the Torah, truly God's glorious promise and fearsome warning to all people.
