Black Cat
Curled in tail
Fur black as night
Slinks its way
To cause some fright
In shadows it hides
Eyes glowing green
But even so
It stays unseen
Its claws jut out
And fur on end
Arches its back
And begins to send
A half cat's meow
Half baby's cry
An eerie sound
Like it wants to die
A chilling sight
Imagine that
A night encounter
With a black cat

so hard on my book.
Why can't you just relax
stop purring
