Poetry: Two hearts

Two hearts combined,
And yet they beat as one.
A mother and a child,
The journey just begun.

Uniting in the morning glory,
Dancing in the sun,
One inside the other,
Until the day is done.

Inspired by the light,
Such a miracle inside,
Two forces embracing one another,
Their entities collide.

Only separated by a space,
That lies deep from within,
One purely innocent,
The other charged with humanity's sin.

Walking in the moonlight,
Intersecting, their two lives,
Two hearts merge together,
With a love that always survives.

One tiny heart reliant,
Upon a mother's sacrifice,
Sacred and selfless,
Providing only life.

To hearts that will forever cycle,
In spectacular unity,
Combining into one great force,
Yet separate, defined - each entity.

Such a glorious miracle,
These two hearts that beat as one,
A start to something beautiful,
A new life has begun.
