In the city of Angels
A new summer's day
What could go wrong?
It's best not to ask
In the back of the bus
Tattoos on his neck
What do they mean?
You'd better not ask
In the shade of the market
For smokes and some and beer
Are they really so bad?
I don't even ask
The sun it falls low
A shade gets pulled over life
Will the monsters come out?
Do you even need to ask?
At her front door
Her smile lets me in
Is this real love?
I can't begin to ask
Our bodies together
Alone in our warmth
Will this moment end?
Please, don't ask
