Pain wears
Pain wears
you down.
Chain mail shroud chafing raw
Flesh criss-crossed
Diamonds digging in
Wearying weight
obscures me.
I wear pain.
Pain wears me
down.

I feel my heart start sinking,

I can not stop this thinking

With stabs in my back
I grow weary
crimson tears of betrayal .
lies are deadly
people are crushed
innocents hurt
