My baby daughter's tiny hands
Her itsy bitsy toes
Her sparkling eyes and high pitched laugh
Her little button nose
The way my wife takes care of me
Each morning in a hurry
Coffee, lunch, a kiss goodbye
And off to work I scurry
Phone calls from a long time friend
A visit from my mother
Fishing, just my son and I
A golf game with my brother
Eating ice cream in the shade
A hummingbird in flight
Watching monkeys at the zoo
Pants that fit just right
These may seem unimportant
Amidst elections, gas and war
But these little things fulfill me
And nothing is worth more
