As I walk along the meadow
I can hear you, in my mind.
You're as pretty to me now
As you were then.
If I had you now, I'd say the things
That I once let slip by;
And maybe we could live what might have been.
What might have been
If you and I had done things differently.
What might have been If I had tried
To be your friend.
If I had you now, I'd hear the things
