We are citizens who feel suppressed
We are citizens who feel like nobody is listening
We are citizens of the world who feel like citizens of our space
We are citizens who are muted before we can even formulate a thought

We are citizens whose identities are continuously in peril
We are citizens who deserve better
We are citizens, each with our own voice
We are citizens with the power to make things better.
