Poetry: Responsibility

by Ryan Weber

Created on: April 24, 2008

It's me against the Man,
What can I do?
So I bring my worst,
And my whole desperate crew.

Driven to violence,
Not a violent man,
I break and corrupt,
And do all that I can.

It's a struggle against the Man,
The Goliath swings,
And brings me to my knees,
He wants to hear me begging, "Please."

Like a boa constrictor,
The more I fight,
The harder they squeeze.
