Two hearts, of one mind,
Amidst the summer breeze, intertwined.
The birds sing their song,
And wildflowers set the mood,
Alone, together,
A grassy clearing in the wood.
Sunlight sets fire to their eyes,
The fragrance of love is in the air,
Magnified by brilliant blue skies,
More potent and real than they had realized.
Setting sun gives way to twinkling stars,
Two hearts, alive.
