Red Water
No answer at the door
strangely its unlocked
the sound of running water echoes
footsteps splash
still no answer
panic ensues
the mind knows the truth
banging on the door
holding onto hope
tears run
the water looks odd down below
grief stricken
unlock the door
denying what you know is there
red water
body pale and cold
lifeless eyes
questions rack the brain
it must be a dream
onto a better place
screaming sirens approach
lights fill the dark
its time to say goodbye
but these pictures
are forever engraved

You hadn't come home for tea, at the normal time of six.
I gave you a few

Survival
The world span away

And
Another Chance

I'd been keeping it all inside,
forgetting to forgive
by Paul Curtis
WHAT?
What darkness
Leads a tortured soul
To break the bonds
Which hold us
Voluntarily
What illusion
So influences
A mind once so
