Top 10 movies with titles beginning with "B", and what makes them so good

There are a lot of great movies beginning with the letter "B." I feel silly leaving off "Badlands," "Blazing Saddles," and any of the Batman films, but there you go. Here's one man's Top Ten:

Being John Malkovich (1999)

One my favorite films ever, and, quite frankly, a work of genius. I don't think Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman can do any wrong as a team. It's all about puppeteer Craig Schwartz, played by John Cusack, working on the 7th floor and finding a portal through which you can be inside the head of John Malkovich for 15 minutes. Cameron Diaz and Catherine Keener costar in one of the funniest, most creative films you will ever see.

Boogie Nights (1997)

An amazing motion picture with one of the greatest casts in recent memory. We follow a young man during his journey through the porn industry in the late 70s and early 80s. With Mark Wahlberg, John C. Reilly, Julianne Moore, Don Cheadle, William H. Macy, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Burt Reynolds, Heather Graham, Luis Guzman, and Philip Baker Hall. Paul Thomas Anderson's screenplay and directing are fantastic, as is the soundtrack. You almost don't even need numbers 3 through 10. These two are enough.

Bonnie and Clyde (1967)

It was perhaps the violence that kept this film from winning the Best Picture Oscar in 1968. It's been done many times, but only Arthur Penn's movie about the notorious bank robbing couple of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow can be called the best. Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty play the infamous duo to near perfection, with support from Gene Hackman, Estelle Parsons, and Gene Wilder.

Boyz in the Hood (1991)

John Singleton's best film, which is saying a lot, received Oscar nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay, but not Best Picture, sadly. Laurence Fishburne, Ice Cube, and Cuba Gooding Jr. star in this story of life in South Central Los Angeles. I'll say it - if you don't like this film, you must be a racist.

Back to the Future (1985)

It's one of my favorite trilogies, and I quote this first one all the time. Robert Zemeckis directed and co-wrote this film that everybody's seen. So I shouldn't have to summarize it. But I will. Michael J. Fox is Marty McFly, who ends up in the year 1955 via Dr. Emmett Brown's (Christopher Lloyd) time machine/DeLorean. There he meets his parents, played by Crispin Glover and Lea Thompson, as they were in high school. A wonderful film that should be on everyone's "B" list.Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)

From Truman Capote's novel, this fantastic
