You were a whisper
A faint wind against the wind panel
Yet you were there
Strong
A remembered stance
I look at your pictures
And remember the time
When we all sacrificed
Loved, concerned, prayer
I don't know what you would have been
And yet, I wonder if need be
For perhaps
The dream you were in
Told me of who you would've been
I cared for you
I loved you
Your eyes of your brother's
A even-tempered temperament
I looked in your eyes
And it was you
My nephew
I was blessed
To care for you
As long as you lived
And when I awoke
I couldn't help but think
Was this you?
Your way of saying hello?
A way of knowing you?
And I think it was for heartfelt honor I embrace
