Feeling sad cause you're turning 40?
I'm twice that now and feel young and sporty.
I walk two miles most every day.
I do chores, but make time to play.
I help out the widow down the street
She can't shop; she's got bad feet.
I don't mind doing her grocery shopping.
Keeps me young and keeps me hopping.
I walk her dog for the very same reason.
Makes me appreciate every season.
I bring in her mail and share a cup of tea
It's not fun getting old if you're sad and lonely.
A big pot of meatballs and spaghetti,
Every Sunday I have ready.
All my children manage to come.
You can come too! Lunch is at one.
What's my secret for staying young?
Do good, work hard, and have some fun.
There's plenty of time left for you
To do the things you want to do.

And time is suddenly oh so dear

You're hardly half
by Sid de Knees
I look like my dad..
I tend to move quite slowly now,
and find aches when I do,
I find that stairs are murderous,
and toe nails
Feeling sad cause you're turning 40?
I'm twice that now and feel young and sporty.
I walk two miles most every day.
I do chores,
