Poetry: Little Things
I bring you a cup of coffee
Before I leave for work
I tell you that I love you
Tussle your hair whilst I smirk.
You make my plate at dinner
Bring my drink to the table too
These are the little things
For each other that we do.
I will drive the kids
if you put in a load of clothes
I will set your bath
You will rub my toes.
You will fill my car with gas
because you know I'll run it low
These are the little things
that makes our love grow.
I will warm your towel,
as from a shower you're ready to dry.
You will wipe away a tear
If it falls from my eye.
I will kiss you for no reason
as you will kiss me too
These are the little things
For each other that we do!
The little things they work
and we prove it year by year
After twenty-five of them
You and I; were still here!

Now think...
