Poetry: Little things

by Morton Templeton

Created on: April 23, 2008

Little Things

The aroma of damp woods and mud
filling the air after a spring rain
The sight of an eagle
riding thermals in the mid day heat
the dazzling sunset
reflecting off a smooth Minnesota lake

Little things

Reminding me
we are all interconnected
a wonder and good fortune
to be alive on this world

Little things
humbling to me
bringing me to my knees
