That's right, the vehicle will splash into the water to end the tour! Don't worry; all vehicles are safe and certified by the U.S Coast Guard for use on land and water. Everyone on the tour will receive a special "Wacky Quacker" to make duck noises throughout the tour. The Philly Duck Tour is the perfect way to see all of the important Philadelphia Landmarks such as Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, The Betsy Ross House, The Philadelphia Mint, and so much more. Children will have fun while learning and the adults will enjoy it too!
THE FRANKLIN INSTITUTE
This enriching science museum is the perfect place for children to have fun while learning. It is filled with hands on exhibits to help children learn about everything from body parts to how trains work. The most popular exhibit is the large walk through heart. Take your children through this structure and they can see and hear how the human heart works. Does your child like trains? If so then they would be thrilled to see the Baldwin 60000 Locomotive. They can feel the steam from the train and learn how train engineers work behind the scenes. They will not even know that they were just taking part in an important science lesson. The Franklin Institute also takes part in traveling exhibits so be sure to check out their website for current offerings.
PHILADELPHIA ZOO
All children love animals so who wouldn't be thrilled to visit the oldest zoo in America, the Philadelphia Zoo. This habitat is filled with interesting mammals, reptiles, fish and birds sure to capture the interest of even the youngest toddler. There are even prairie dogs and bears. Do not forget to stop by the petting zoo for younger children where they can go up close to goats and sheep. They can get on a life-sized tractor as they learn all about farm animals. For a small fee, watch your child ride a pony; don't forget to take pictures!
ADVENTURE AQUARIUM
All children will love to see how the marine life lives. Take your little ones across the Delaware River to see sharks, jellyfish, hippos, and other underwater creatures. Let them take part in some of the interactive exhibits where they can actually touch some of the fish or maybe even a shark! Teens and adults can even swim with the sharks, which I can tell you from experience is an exhilarating
