The brittle bones of fate entwine
As love loses meaning over time
Heart strings snap, break, and pain
The empathy expires once again
Life sets in, love pays the price
Dying slowly, they freeze to ice
Compassion wanes, lovers drift
Only bitter words hang in the rift
