Poetry: I hear you

by Kimberly Bauer

Created on: April 23, 2008

I hear you.....

we stand here face to face
no words spoken
emotions fill the air
fogging our judgment
tension so heavy
I cannot move

I feel your breath on my cheek
hearts racing
your hand reaches up
and softly brushes my cheek
my heart aches
Yet I cannot move

I see in your eyes
words you cannot say
my heart swells
as our lips meet
longing overwhelms me
And I cannot move
