A guide to the best nightclubs in Phoenix, AZ

It's hard to believe that a city built in the middle of the desert could possibly be home to some of the best nightclubs in the Western United States, but it's true! Phoenix is a chameleon city, all business by day and all fun when the sun goes down! Whether you're in to posh clubs with new-age crowds or your simple corner pub, Phoenix is a city that will meet your night-life needs.

JACKSON'S ON 3RD
If you're in the mood for a low-key sports bar that gets all "revved-up" after 10 pm with dancing, live music and club music, this is the place to be. Located just down the street from Chase Field and directly across the street from US Airways Center, Jackson's is one of the best sports bars in the area. Boasting over 28 beers on tap in their main bar, you'll find yourself fully immersed in the sports scene with mural covered walls and televisions. Still, if dancing is more your thing, don't worry, Jackson's has you covered! Club 245 is one of the hottest spots in towns for dancing until closing time, and if you enjoy live music, you'll love the stage that often plays host to local bands...especially after Diamondback games!

THE RHYTHM ROOM
There's nothing like the sweet sound of jazz and blues played in a swanky, dark club...that's what the Rhythm Room is all about. Since 1991, this little club has been delighting the Phoenix area with its unpretentious decor, downright delicious BBQ and its ability to draw in the big performers and the local talent. In addition to jazz and blues, the Rhythm Room also dabbles in other styles like R&B, Swing and Rockabilly. There's no TV's or other distractions, so patrons actually have to interact with one another, and the music truly has the "stage".

MARTINI RANCH
The perfect blend of a down-home bar and a sophisticated lounge all nestled in the heart of Scottsdale, just minutes from Phoenix. If you're in to a slightly Southwestern feel with posh undertones, the Martini Ranch won't be a disappointment. There's a nice dance-floor, a stage that features mostly local bands, a poolroom and a nice courtyard if you need a breath of fresh air. Best of all, staying true to its name, the Martini Ranch offers over 30 different types of freshly blended martinis!

HIDDEN HOUSE COCKTAIL LOUNGE
If you're in to underground Hip Hop and an out-of-the-way, "hidden" hole in the wall, the Hidden House Cocktail lounge is your diamond in the rough. The atmosphere in this club is extremely "chill", and if you want a place where you can enjoy yourself without having to worry about "snobby" people, this is the place to be. Prices are reasonable, the music is truly "real Hip Hop", and the crowd is fun and engaging...there's really nothing more to be said!

So, whether you're looking for uptown sophistication or downtown swank, you'll find it in Phoenix. There is scarcely a city with more night-time diversity!
