Together- my silver and gold memories and the loves in my life.

Charm bracelets are a great way to keep memories close to your heart.
Photographs and videos are too, don't get me wrong but there is something special about
gazing at a charm bracelet and remembering...

A pair of sterling silver alpine skis dangle in between a ram (a zodiac sign) and a gold firefighter's helmet. The skis represent the love I have for that sport. The helmet for the firefighter I became nine years ago.The zodiac symbol represents my birth sign. The charms that flank these three are a lighthouse,I went to Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia years ago and brought a lighthouse charm home with me, a horse's head encircled with a horse shoe, absolutely love horses. Another horse, but this time a horse,driver and sulky. Horse racing. I learned how to drive a sulky when I was twelve, so, henceforth, another charm is now dangling with the others.

These charms represent memories for me, there is also another silver charm with my initial and a white topaz directly centered above the initial.

My charms are special to me.

Any kind of charm can make for a creative bracelet, the charms are endless.There are ever so many kinds.
For example, I'm adding a Husky and a German Short Hair Pointer, for the two pups we own or rather who own us,heh,heh,heh. A Snowflake because I love snow, a Moose, my favorite wild animal, a Rose and a Pansy for my two favorite flowers,a Canadian Maple Leaf, I love Canada.
These are some ideas for charms and,mix them. I have silver and gold ones, more silver because they're less expensive but, get whatever strikes your fancy.
Other ideas for charms are, your profession, ie: hairdresser or doctor, religion, ie: a cross,
musical instruments, ie: guitar or drum sticks, or if you're a wine connoisseur then a bunch of grapes or a wine bottle. Some people I've seen have sunglasses, purses and even lipsticks on their bracelets.

Now writing about charms, makes me want to go out and buy more, right this minute. I mean, I am going to get more, just perhaps,one a month or so.
Ah, the possibilities are endless.

When this bracelet becomes too full to add anymore, I'll begin a new one, after all, I have another bracelet, it was my mom's, she gave it to me a long time ago. It's just waiting to be filled with dangling memories of silver and gold.
