"a poem for you..."
my heart...it mourns.
it weeps for you, my child, it cries.
the pools it sheds for you will never cease
they refuse to stop, it will not yield.
it is always lurking...
always digging at your thoughts
and clawing to your brains
they will not cease, it will not stop.
they come to drag you down
to grab your feet and pull you under
but you dont kick...you dont scream...
and they wont stop, can't stop, they will prevail
and you will let them...
you will suffer
you will cry
you will scream
you will go numb
you will feel nothing
and you will want to die
and you will.
if that's truly what you want
...you will.

waiting for the phone to ring, ready to die.
The stomach tosses and turns
Where is this place called Dignity
Where is this place called dignity?
There was a time I thought I knew
with certainty,
yet
