I am
The embodiment
Of every dream
That never came true.
I am
The tears
You sob into your pillow
Every night,
In the darkness,
In the stillness.
I am
Every fragment
Of every painful memory
I am
Your first break up.
I am
Your first loss.
I am
The first punch
That bully ever gave you.
I am
The nagging wisdom tooth
Grinding away at your gums.
I am
The first time you fell
And no one cared
If you could not get up.
I am
The first cut
You ever put
On your wrist.
I am
All the voices
That tell you to give up,
That tell you you are nothing,
That tell you you are ugly,
Stupid,
Pathetic,
Weak.
I am
The agony
Inside your dying head.
I am
Your fears.
I am
The rain.
I am
Your sunken eyes.
I am
Your pain.

I'm so lonely and empty inside,

You're so wrong
I get it
I've got it
You just don't get me
It's a turnover from your usual scenario
A heart ache
It just confuses
