Yes, Onions do help to cure cancer! If you have any doubts read the recent research done by Rui Hai Liu, M.D., Ph.D., a chemist with Cornell's Department of Food Science in Ithaca, N.Y. who tested ten different varieties of onions and found that the more pungent varieties did in fact have a benefit in controlling and treating cancer. (See references below)
If that does not convince you then review the information provided by WebMD or the articles at Prevention Magazine or the program at CBS News. All of these sources are reporting the benefits of onions in treating cancer.
Researcher Carlotta Galeone, of the Istituto di Ricerche Farmocologiche "Mario Negri" in Milan, and colleagues say the health benefits of onion and garlic have been touted for centuries, but few studies have been able to prove the benefits."
Evidence of various cultures and societies recommending onions as a cure for cancer can be found in some very interesting places. Most notably is a current day Guru or Spiritual Teacher by the name of Mawlana Nazim who has been recommending onion juice for the cure of cancer to his followers for many years and whose teacher was recommending it before him. The technique recommended by this spiritual guide is now being offered at the Broken Earth website and provides all the instructions for performing onion juice therapy to cure cancer for free. (see reference below)
According to some nutritionists and scientists, the active compounds in onions are effectuating cancer cells are: volatile oil, flavonoids, sterols, phenolic acids, alliin.
I do not think science can really explain or isolate every element of a cure because these curse are beyond science as demonstrated by some interesting work done by Musuru Emoto on energy resonance. The effect that words and phrases have on water crystals illustrates that something "spiritual" is at work beyond the confines of scientific knowledge. Nonetheless, it is good that science has started to catch up to what this spiritual guide has been saying all along, "onions do cure cancer".
According to BrokenEarth.org, not all onions have the medicinal quality to heal. Hybrid onions, like many brands sold at national food stores, are relatively useless in the treatment of illness. They are raised to be sweet! The "make them big and make them beautiful" mind-set has caused much of the holistic medicinal benefits of store bought produce to be lost.
You must find organically grown pungent onions, preferably grown in the same soil where you live and spend the majority of your time. The common reddish brown pungent "yellow" variety is best. Be careful, sweet onions can look much like the more pungent brands. Also, "organic" does not mean they have been grown to maximize their medicinal qualities. Most organic farmers are, like their non-organic counterparts, focused on appearance and size. Hey, it's what sells!
Studies also prove that people who consume more onions and garlic are less likely to develop many different forms of cancer. But once you have cancer, the best course of action is a concentrated course of onion juice over a forty day period of time.
Perhaps the best cure for cancer has been right under our noses all along.
