According to Tibetan Bon tradition, How do you know when you are drawn to someone across a room whether what you are feeling is love or lust?

Check your body's responses. Lust is purely sexual. Love feels like a slower more encompassing energy.

When your energy get low, you get lustful. It is generated by the mind when the body seeks to be charged up with energy. When we fall in love it is when two thought energies celebrate and discover each other.

You may fall in love and get the dreamy state and sweaty palms , fires of passion and expectancy. This love relationship can last seconds or a lifetime depending on how you proceed. The more slowly and surely you go, the more likely it will last. The energies have to slow down and find order to become stronger and last.

Love and lust often come together and this is fine but pure lust can be dangerous. Sexual activity is a very intimate thing. Check your motivations bfore you have sex with someone. Lust can take away your vital energy if you let yourself be controlled by it.
