TOY STORY, the first one, and TOY STORY II, both featuring Tom Hanks as "Woody," and Tim Allen as "Buzz Lightyear." An excellent family movie, animated but human-like characters with the wide range of emotions, including tears of sadness, but especially peppered with humour, it will have the whole family laughing for more.
Family CHRISTMAS movies worth mentioning, are,
Prancer
The Santa Claus
Jingle All The Way
The Sound of Music (a popular Classic, appropriate for all ages)
Other "family" movies I would recommend, and which my now teenaged son also agrees are appropriate for a family, including children under 13 years old, are as follows:
1] COOL RUNNINGS
2] THE INDIAN IN THE CUPBOARD
3] DR. DOOLITTLE
4] MAGIC IN THE WATER
5] FLY AWAY HOME
6] JUNGLE-2-JUNGLE
7] JUMANJI
8] MRS. DOUBTFIRE
9] MATILDA
10] THE NEVER ENDING STORY
11] CASPER: FRIENDLY BEGINNINGS
12] BEETHOVEN
13] BEETHOVEN'S 2ND
So...get out the popcorn and settle into a comfy chair with your children or your mom and dad, and enjoy some quality sharing together.
