The Privatisation of Climate Change:
Climate Change cannot be solved. Climate Change is not the end of the world. Climate Change can have more benefits than disadvantages. Climate Change is a man-made phenomenon that has made man the phenomenal being he is today.
It seems that lately Climate Change is the measure of all things. Reports of climate change crop up from everything weather related, to food prices, politics and economics, education, the Olympics, business, etc. It is now a cast iron paradigm written in stone and it is heresy to question or criticise any aspect of it not related to CO2 limitations. This is a dangerous precedent for science, for science works on the principle of creating new and different interpretations of data and theories, which can be tested, independently recreated, peer reviewed and changed accordingly. But with climate change, there is no courtesy for such debate. Some people, not even in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), have decided that the debate is over and only their solution is practicable. The climate change debate is out of the hands of the scientists.
For some reason, various environmentalists, activists and other green organisations disregard any technological fixes for climate change and resist such technologies as nuclear, carbon sequestration, biofuels, ocean or cloud seeding or a myriad of other cheaper ways to combat climate change. They prefer Kyoto with its almost $200 billion price tag, the most expensive, yet least useful way to help humans. Even the IPCC acknowledges that by the end of the 21st century Kyoto will delay any warming by a few years. So why are these people hell-bent on spending this exorbitant amount of money on an ineffectual policy? Because climate change policy is not in the green-fingered hands of the environmentalists, so Kyoto is their loudest voice.
In Bjorn Lomborg's Cool It' (2007), he lists major ways in which humanity could help itself mitigate climate change for a price many times cheaper than Kyoto. Yes, there is the proposed energy transition to come, but climate change will mean millions of less cold deaths compared to heat deaths; more water (more precipitation and better water policies); painting buildings in lighter colours and planting more trees in urban areas would automatically decrease city temperatures; focusing on malaria (and other diseases) will lessen death tolls even with climate change, and implementing better flood plain management policies would

When we want to know the real truth about global warming, we must first separate what we know versus what is conjecture.
by Pat Lunsford
The real truth about global warming is that the earth is always going through periods of cooling followed by periods of warming,
By now we all know about Global Warming and CO2 emissions. The Polar Caps are melting, Venice is sinking, forests fires increase,
Here's a few things most people don't know, because most people like to get their news from propaganda movies which win Oscars
