need to register as a new user on the home page then click sell' and create a seller's account'. The eBay site will guide you though the process and this may involve giving card details for security purposes.
Step 2: Decide what to sell
For your first little experiment, it doesn't really matter what you sell. Take a look around the room you're in I'm sure there is something that you're not all that attracted to and can put in the post. Small books and Cd's are ideal.
Step 3: Submit your item
Click sell' and you're on your way to listing your first item.
The first thing you need to do is choose a category. It is best to type in what you are selling and let eBay choose for you. Next, write a title and description. Include keywords you think people will search for in the title box and all the information you have in the description box.
Now set a starting price. 0.01p is the best starting price as it draws people into bidding. The next thing is to set duration of the auction. Remember longer sales will usually get more bids but will also seem to drag on forever.
If you have a picture, add it now. Items with pictures will always sell for more.
Finally tick the payment methods you will accept (Paypal is the ideal method) and where you will post to. Try to limit to your own country to begin with.
Submit and you're done!
Step 4: Wait for it to sell
Sit back and let eBay do all the work for you. Buyers will find your item and leave bids on it. Some may email you with questions and you should do your best to answer them as quickly as you can.
Step 5: Collect payment and post it
EBay will send your buyer emails to guide them to make the payment. Always post your item once cleared payment has been received. Ensure the item is carefully wrapped and write the address clearly on the parcel. Put some stamps on it and post.
Step 6: Feedback
Once your buyer has received the item, they will normally leave some feedback for you. Positive feedback is a necessity on eBay as it gives buyers confidence in buying a product from you. If you have not received a feedback you can send a reminder to your buyer. Remember to always give a feedback to your buyer.
