Choosing a hotel that will be easy on your budget doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice comfort or amenities. What it does mean is that you have to do your homework and try to find "luxury" hotels at a budget price. One way to make sure that you are getting the best budget option is to choose a hotel that offers breakfast as part of the price. There are many hotel chains these days that offer this option, Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, LaQuinta, Embassy Suites and many others too numerous to mention. These are a few favorite hotels in Phoenix that are easy to love and won't send you to the poorhouse.

Embassy Suites

As a rule Embassy suites are a favorite because they offer great family accommodations. They allow a little extra privacy over the usual one room hotel room.

The particular Embassy Suites is located close to the airport and is a good option if you are arriving at night or leaving in the morning. They have a courtesy van to either pick you up or drop you off at the airport.

Room are spacious, breakfast is good and the property is well maintained. Rates start at under $100 per night. Consider the price of full breakfasts for the family included and it is very "budget" friendly.

Embassy Suites North

This hotel is located just outside the city on the north side. The hotel rooms are two rooms suites with TVs in both rooms and are very well maintained and comfortable. The hotel has an on-site restaurant that offers rooms service if you would rather just relax and enjoy the property.

In the afternoon there is a managers reception. There is nothing quite as relaxing as sitting in the hot tub with a frozen Pina Colada. The pool area is very attractive at this location. The breakfast was a very thorough buffet with made to order omelets and plenty of other buffet choices.

Prices run as low as $115 per night with breakfast and the managers reception that would be a very good bargain.

Hotel San Carlos

If you are looking for a charming hotel in downtown then this is a good options. Much of the original 1928 detail has been retained and the lobby is glorious. The rooms underwent renovation in 2003 and now include Serta bedding, ceiling fans and coffee makers. You will find all the modern amenities with that oh so attractive hint of history. They are a member of the Historic Hotels of America and The National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Rooms here begin at $109 for a room with one Queen bed. While this price doesn't include breakfast the on site restaurant offers some attractive choices at prices that won't send you into sticker shock. What this hotel has going for it besides for it's history is location, location, and you guessed it location.

Phoenix is not a cheap city to stay in but there are bargains to be had and there are quite a number of budget friendly hotel options to choose from. Do your homework and won't spend more than you are comfortable paying.
