Poetry: Limits

by N. Lee Austin

Created on: April 22, 2008

Life

Life has got to end somewhere,
Why not here, why not there?
Time has got to stop sometime,
Why not now in it's prime?

Everyone has limitations,
Life is an ivitation,
You're invited to live it long,
To do it right or do it wrong.

The road you walk,
Will make the day.
The word you talk,
Will pave the way.

It's been said,
Take the best,
Leave the rest.

I say...
Take what you need,
Fear always greed!
Greed is death,
Care is breath,
You receive what you give,
What you give,
You will live.
