Life is like a roller coaster
Your own personal ride.
The ups and downs of your days
building the track, piece by piece.

Some days the track points up, ascending into the sky.
Others you come crashing down
Feeling like you'll hit the ground.

Sometimes the content of your car is just a party of one
Making you feel sad and helpless knowing you're alone.
Other times there's someone there
In the seat right next to you.
Someone there to laugh and scream with
to comfort you when you get scared.

From the moment you are born
Pulling down the bar,
To when the wheels come to a stop,
You're always in that car.

Life is like a roller coaster
A fun and fast paced ride.
What you do is up to you
Just never look down.
