Poetry: The tragedy of love

by Angelina Marshall

Created on: April 22, 2008

The Void

These loveless nights
That plague my life
He doesn't see
He doesn't hear
I try to show my pain
It's cast off like a joke
Like I am a joke
Can't you see I am trying to fix this
I've never tried to fix before
I just walk away
Run away..move on
Do you not see, I am at the door
It won't be long now
You promised to change
It's only gotten worse
I need love
I deserve it
I want it
How hard is it to show love
Is it really such a CHORE?
