Finishing touches on the shelves and brackets,
proudly display power tools,
garden hoes and rakes, fertilizers,
paint cans, shop vac.
Everything's in order.
Of course the floor boasts a new coat of concrete paint
in a finish of faux,
The garage to shelter and spoil my red sports car,
Convertible of course.
What a perfect place to store the treadmill
til we fix it,
hey what a great place to hang out-of-season clothes,
Just enough room for all the computer and stereo boxes.
My little red sports car is a little crowded-
Don't ding the doors!
These end tables are too old for the living room-
but too nice to toss.
Perfect out here-put those boxes of beach towels and
and gift wrap up on top.
With the new recliner, there's no room for the old chair.
Over there in the corner.
Look at these garage sale treasures: caulk guns, and wallpaper for the bathroom,
whenever we get around to it.
Let's stow that high chair, crib, and playpen out here too.
Science projects, my pottery mistakes,
All find a spot in the garage.
Now my little red sports car clings to the driveway
While my garage is full of multitudes of junk!

It broke down on the side of the road.
