In my Dreams (An Inverted Refrain)
Fair moon, the maker of my dreams
be with me as the night does fall.
While stumbling o'er nocturnal streams,
protect me from every pitfall.
Oh, as it again is nightfall,
Luna, send me dreams on moonbeams.
These dreams are full of faery folk,
their wings are made of gossamer.
They sit and have a cheery smoke
along into the midsummer.
With wings that are of gossamer,
my dreams are rich with faery folk.
An evil witch was in one dream,
she tried to rule o'er all the land
hatching a very nasty scheme,
but Luna turned her into sand.
Attempting to rule o'er the land,
the evil witch was in my dream.
Luna these days predominates
my dreams which bring me fun and joy.
Last night she had on rollerskates
and flirted with the elvish boy.
My dreams now bring me fun and joy,
Luna lately predominates.

There is a fine, enchanted place where fairies go,
And mushrooms in a circle stand so proudly,
Where little people live,
