1) Miami: OT-Jake Long-Michigan
Miami is all over the map right now, but the only person they are currently in negotiations with is Long, but even that could be a ruse. In the end if Long is indeed the pick, Miami makes the safe pick and solidifies a tackle position for the next decade and fills a major hole.
2) St. Louis: DE-Chris Long-Virginia
Rams are almost as all over the place as Miami. Like Miami, I think they'd really like to move down. If the find no takers, Long seems the obvious choice and should give Adam Carriker a formidable partner on the D-line.
3) Atlanta: QB-Matt Ryan-Boston College
Atlanta reportedly covets Jake Long and with three picks in round two they have the ammo to move up if needed. However, the better move would be to horde the picks and take Matt Ryan who should become the face of the franchise.
4) NYJ: RB-Darren McFadden-Arkansas
Raiders seem to be the most likely to trade down. With their next pick not until round four, Oakland has too many holes to not make an effort to trade down. Look for the Jets here, who will land the player they covet.
5) KC: DE-Vernon Gholston-Ohio State
Jared Allen is as good as gone and they need someone to potentially replace him. Gholston has scouts drooling right now and the Chiefs would likely pounce on him here.
6) Oakland: DT-Glen Dorsey-LSU
Oakland lands an impact DT who will help fill a void on the D-line and give d-coordinator Rob Ryan a shiny new toy to play with.
7) NE: LB-Keith Rivers-USC
None of the CB's has really distinguished themselves as a top ten pick. Rivers makes an immediate impact on an aging LB core.
8) Baltimore: QB-Brian Brohm-Louisville
Ravens don't have much of a choice here. Yes, they could wait until the second, but with McNair's retirement and the recent resurrection of Brohm's stock, I think Baltimore takes the QB here.
9) Cincinnati: DT-Sedrick Ellis-USC
They could feasibly take Harvey here and improve the pass rush, but Ellis is the likely choice and should immediately upgrade their D-line.
10) NO: CB-Leodis McKelvin-Troy
Saints have the option of taking whichever corner they feel is the top ranked. In this case it should be McKelvin.
11) Buffalo: WR-Devin Thomas-Michigan St
Bills have shown over the last couple of years they aren't afraid to reach. Thomas has positioned himself to be the first receiver off the board and he seems likely to head to Buffalo.
12) Denver: OL-Brandon Albert-Virginia
