"" Pull up that chair and make yourself comfortable"" said the old woman as she put the freshly made pot of coffee on the table. She groaned as she bent over, her back was sore often these days. She had been in the garden earlier, her passion, and pain was not an acceptable exscuse for missing a day with the Creator's anecdote for feeling sorry for herself.
She set sugar and real cream , along with cookies she baked, out for her guest and herself to enjoy at their leisure. The old woman raised her blue eyes until they were looking directly into another set of blue eyes. Eyes that looked exactly as hers did, many years ago.
Her youngest granddaughter was sitting, waiting for the elder woman to get comfortable so they could commence their visit.
The old woman and the young woman had a very deep love for each other, keeping them close. One couldn't say who enjoyed the visits more, both were their happiest when together.

She could see expectation brimming out of the crystal blue depths. And trust. Trust that the old woman was going to tell her the truth about what she could look forward to in life.
The old woman sat and thought awhile before she began. Her thoughts took her back to her youth and her expectations.
She had been through alot in her life but, did it make her qualified to give advice? She had survived, so, yes, she was qualified.
"" Well let me begin with , this is how I see it. Maybe you will see things differently and I will embrace those differences because they are of you. If what I say touches you, you will know that you are supposed to hold onto that piece of Truth. And know I love you very much."" the old woman made her self a little more comfy before beginning her talk. She was secretly honored she had been asked this.
From generation to generation. Maybe the day will come when her granddaughter will be the elder and she will recall her grandmother's
