Its early in the am
Before the dawn even breaks
You yet to sleep
Body humming with unspent energy
Thoughts flood your sullen mind
As images of worlds beyond yours or mine
Comes floating through this sphere inside
Flashes of battles to graphic to contemplate
Scenes of love etched on stone
As each new view new scene unfolds
Your hand is a blur trying to capture each scent
You watch as lives play out
One can be born
While another parish
Each soul as close to you as ones own
This world you watch oh so close
Is it real the mind starts to wonder
Are you watching them
Could they just be next door
So real you feel their blood coursing beneath their skin
The wind upon your face
An epic landscape laid out to paint
As days go by
The worlds collide
Till theres nothing left but your world inside
Lost to the battles no one will ever see
Caught up in the love of the ones deep within
Words on a page scribbled in haste
As the chorus of voices call you to play
Happily you turn from your scattered script
To run in fields of dewy grass
Catching sunbeams as you dance
Sullen mind no more
Home you fly on dreams out stretched wings
