Snapshots
They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words
What does that really mean?
Are there really that many words to describe a picture?
I snap and snap
But I can never find
Many words to define
What my camera
Leaves behind
Pictures of mom and dad
Husband and kids
And don't forget the dog
Those are the best
Because they're taken with love
I guess the ones that are worth the most
Are the ones that tell a story
Like those of 9-11
So, I suppose, some are worth a 1,000 words
Keep taking those snapshots
Who knows what they will show
