I Used To Be
I used to be
A little tree.
Growing day by day.
Waiting for the chance...
To one day be of need.
Then one day
A man came to me,
And asked to cut me down.
I said yes,
And he took me home
And I was measured
And I was sawed.
Then after awhile
Of being shaped
And being smoothed.
He then added on the final touches.
I found I was freed,
To help those in need.
Cause I was a pair
Of crutches.
