In a tiny, run down trailer
Sitting on the edge of town
The great Madame Katrina
Can usually be found
The reader of the cards
The seer of it all
She will tell the fotune
Of those who come to call
I muster up my courage
As a knock upon the door
I'm a little apprehensive
Not knowing what's in store
As the door swings open
A woman says to me
Come right in
Your future we will see
With cards in hand
She begins
My body is shaking
Right down to my shins
One by one
The cards are laid out
I'm feeling skeptical
And full of doubt
She starts to speak
With cards all in place
There's a look of horror
Upon her face
I fear I can't tell you
She says to me
It's really quite awful
The future I see
I simply must know
I can't take any more
Tell me please
What's in store
She reveals the truth
The facts that I must know
In a high pitched scream
I yell, please God, no
There must be some mistake
I hopelessly beg and cry
Sorry dear, she says
The cards, they never lie
It's laid out on the table
Right there for you to see
Another twelve children
Added to your family
The men in white can take me now
Place me in a facility
Most surely this will lead
To my insanity
