There are many things that I want to do with my life. It is hard to narrow them down to just 10. I am not going to waste too much time introducing them, so without further ado, here they are:
1. See my children grow up to be happy, independent, contributing members of society I know that sounds kind of callous like I am raising things and not people, but I believe that our children are the future. The experiences that I provide for my children are going to shape them to be the adults that they are. I want them to have pride in their country, their land, and most importantly themselves. My wish is that they go out and live their lives to the fullest extent each and every day.
2. Be debt free since my husband and I got married 3 years ago we have dug ourselves into a huge financial hole. At one point we were even discussing declaring bankruptcy. Through it all the one thing that I have realized is that all of this "stuff" we have is not even worth it. I have recently been doing research on how to get us out of debt. We now have a budget and use cash for most of our purchases. The credit cards have been shredded and we are planning on using the "snowball effect" to get them all paid off in the next five years.
3. Travel to Europe one of our crazy purchases that put us so far into debt was a timeshare. It has points that we can use to travel anywhere in the world. Some of the places that I feel like I have to see before I die include Spain, Rome, Italy, Greece, France, Germany, and England. These places are rich in culture and history and I just feel like I would be shorting myself so much if I never get the chance to visit.
4. Read the Bible all the way through This one should be easy, right? Just pick it up and read it. Well, it hasn't been that easy for me. I always start but I never get past Genesis. The part where it explains who married who and how many kids they had. I get so distracted by the fact that they had 900 children that I lose my patience and quit reading.
5. Earn a college degree I have taken many college classes, but none of them really mean anything so far. I would like to be able to show my children how important college is by saying that I went and I finished. Instead of going to college right after high school, I wanted to party and hang out with my friends. I got pregnant right away and now, 12 years later I am still trying to finish school. One day I am going to finish and that will be one of the proudest moments of my life!
6. Live in my dream
