Everyone knows that last minute cramming for exams isn't going to help. But, many people still do it due to lack of time or procrastinating too much. Hence, me being a last minute crammer, would like to share some tips for people who cram or study at the last minute.
1. Smart studying/selective studying - This would help if you have been attending lectures and tutorials faithfully. Try to identify the important parts by listening to the lecturer. Study those topics well and you are bound to score.
2. Look at past year papers - Look at the past trends, lecturers often repeat those questions. So, if you are hard pressed for time, turn to past year papers for help.
3. Stay Awake - This is one of the most crucial aspects of last minute cramming. You have to do anything to keep you awake. Coffees and green tea have proven effective for me. Have some music in the background to ensure that you do not doze off.
4. Stay away from distractions - This applies to anyone who is studying, not just for the last minutes crammers. Stay away from distractions like the laptop, computers and even friends, especially those whom you love to chat with.
Here's wishing you good luck for the last minute studying!
