Come Hungry
Vultures,
come hungry
your speed
reflecting
your constant need
for inhuman feast
Eat this man
long gone
whose soul
refracts, leaving
flesh lone
longing for death
Invite yourself,
sweet connoisseur
of cold meat,
to this eager home
no longer
inhabited
by living creature
Descending,
you circle,
temptation is evident
your voice calls
asking for more,
thought knowing
the decision
has been made
This lifeless man,
though hardly
a man,
sits
compiled in
an awaiting mess
Vultures,
come hungry
come fast
come one
come many
your silent
meal awaits

And so we begin again....
