Halloween Mystery, Whatever Happened to Mr. Potter's Pumpkin?
The Mineral Wells Mystery Solving Club was holding their weekly secret meeting at the usual spot, Tommy
Bobby was responsible for making sure that all the members had a way to get to Tommy . If any member was unable to find his own ride, Bobby would pick them up with his special Mystery Wagon. So, Bobby had to be the first one to leave for the clubhouse but was always the last one to get there
The first one to arrive at the clubhouse besides Tommy Griffin was Paul Pitts. Paul was the president of The Mineral Wells Mystery Solving Club. Paul was also responsible for making sure that there were no spies hiding around the tree house before a meeting.
Second to arrive was Joey Pierce and his brother Timmy. Joey and Timmy were responsible for snacks. Since mystery solving could take some time they had to make sure there were plenty of snacks.
Soon, Chris Marley showed up doubling Mike Anton on his handle bars. Chris brought his camera and Mike had his binoculars.
Finally, Bobby came with Eric Biggs in his wagon.
"Are all the men here for our Halloween meeting of Mineral Wells Mystery Solving Club?" asked Paul. The children all said "Yes." And they climbed up into the tree house.
When they got inside all of the boys sat in their chairs and waited for the meeting to begin.
Paul stood in front of the room and said "Men, we have come together for our annual Halloween meeting. Tommy would you like to come up here and read our old news?" " Yes, president Pitts." Said Tommy as he walked to the front of the room with his notebook. " Gentle, last meeting we had decided that Stella Johnsons missing kitten was actually at Bonnie Marshall's house. Bonnie had thought the kitten was homeless and decided she would take care of the kitten. It is my pleasure to say that the kitten is back home with Stella and now she and Bonnie are best friends."
Tommy closed his notebook and went back to his chair. Paul stood back up and addressed the room by saying " Men, it has come to my attention that we may have a serious mystery on our hands. Mr. Potter's giant pumpkin is missing." The room gasped as they heard the news. " How could Mr. Potter's giant pumpkin be missing? Asked Timmy . It must weigh like 50 pounds," The rest of the room agreed.
" I say, we all go out
