Wanting to be wanted
Each and every day
Wishing to be wanted
I don't know what to say

So much love I have to give
So much love to share and live
Yet each time I give some trust
I'm left behind in their dust

I know I would never cheat
One woman's love is enough
My feelings have been heavily beat
The search has been so rough

There must be a woman out there
Who wouldn't break my heart
A woman who is kind and fair
We both will do our part

A woman who can be faithful
I would be eternally grateful
A gem amongst all the coal
Finding that is my goal

I continue with looking for her
Could true love really be real?
I sure hope to find out for sure
And experience true love's feel

I'd give anything to be wanted
But instead I am haunted
No woman seems to want just one man
But to get as many as they can

So all I can do is wait and see
And hope to be wanted and loved
Some day I hope I'll finally be
A girl's one and only beloved
