For those who are in tune with ancient texts, especially in relation to Mayan philosophies and predictions, it is now the end of the world as we know it. The prophecies for the year 2012 are slowly becoming a focus for the new times and are bringing an understanding of significant alterations in reality for the Earth.
The calendar predictions that are from the Mayan philosophies come from a culture that understood the aligning of various elements in the universe. This combined the factors of astronomy, time and the zodiac into a multi-dimensional existence of living. The predictions that come from their understanding of these various elements not only come from a specific belief system, but measurements and studies of hundreds of calendars that lined up with the universal stars and concepts.
The concept of 2012 for the Mayans is one that shows the changes in alignment and space for the universe. Specifically, this time frame is one that ends a 26,000 year cycle on the Zodiac for Earth. This is based around the alignment of the stars as well as the alteration of the Zodiac signs. What this does is brings the Earth into the Age of Aquarius, outside of the age of Pisces. This means that the new energy that is in alignment with the stars includes that of independence and an equality between all on the globe.
This 26,000 cycle not only brings in a new age, but ends what is known as the "long count". This is the point where the Winter Solstice Sun will cross with the Galactic Equator, which is the mid-point that is aligned along the Milky Way. These two points will also cross with the path of the Sun, bringing the three points of the galaxy and the sun into direct alignment with each other. This energy point in astronomy is one that has taken several cycles in order to complete and only occurs every few thousand years.
With this alignment of these three points is what the Mayans believe will be a new beginning with a new solar cycle. With the alignment of various points in the universe are also energy forces that transfer and cause for changes to be depicted. For those on Earth, this transfer point of energies will alter the calendars, symbols, zodiac and astronomical forces for thousands of years to come.
For those that understand the Mayan calendar and culture, this point will not only cause for an energy shift in the galaxy as well as on Earth and withe the way in which individuals function. For many, this also entails the return of Quetzalcoatl, meaning that Mayan traditions and ideals that have been covered and destroyed for thousands of years will move back into the main concepts of life and become a connection into a new transfer and way of living. For many, this concept is known as the creation of the noosphere, meaning there will be an alteration into a new spherical plane, or dimension. As a whole, mankind will be forced into a more conscious set of thoughts with their mind.
From the mathematical to the metaphysical predictions, the Mayan calendar that predicts the events of the year 2012 are ones that show a complete shift in the energy of the Earth and the functioning of human kind as is known today. The calculations and the concepts that are being measured and weighed for this time is one that will allow for a beginning of new cycles and for an end in the old systems.
