I carry it with me everywhere
if it doesn't match, I don't care
all I need you'll find inside
come take a tour, I'll be your guide
my checkbook, and a pen
for spending money now and then
a tube of shiny lip-gloss
travel size dental floss
a pair of earrings I wore last year
what are those still doing here?
a lottery ticket from the other day

facial tissue, female stuff
(I'm sure that's quite specific enough)
pictures of my shining stars
the keys to my house and car
the last thing in my purse you'll find

yet my love still burns so strong
I'll stop, I'm getting off the issue
does anybody have a tissue?
Oh, wait, I do, in my purse here, see?
I told you it has everything I need.
