I could make this article another of those about a mythical creature; you know, one that does dishes, buys flowers, and cries. I would do that- if I didn't find this one dimensional fictitious zombie character boring. Yes, a man who remembers birthdays, cooks dinner, etc would be nice, but in reality, someone who is real, someone with depth, someone with "flaws" are really what creates attraction.  And this could only be defined by every woman for herself.  So what is the definition of a model man to me? 

For one thing, the model man is confident in himself, in who he is, in what he believes, and all that he stands for. I don't mean cocky or arrogant (I've yet to meet an intelligent woman who finds cockiness attractive). I mean true confidence. Someone who knows exactly who he is.

The model man is also ambitious; again, I don't mean someone with an agenda who will stop at nothing to fulfill it. I mean a man with passion. Is there anything more attractive than when someone is purely passionate and whole-heartedly committed to something- a cause, a job, a goal, even when you cannot relate?

Intelligence. If this list were in order of importance, this would have come first. Intelligence is, hands down, the most attractive trait: in a man, in a woman, in whoever. Personally I find someone with opinions, whether I agree with them or not, endlessly attractive. Someone with their own ideas, views, and theories of the world, but still possesses the capability to listen and appreciate everyone else's ideas, views and theories.

Lastly, but certainly not least, a model man is modest. Modesty is an attractive trait in all human beings, but there is something spectacular about true, honest, yet non self-deprecating modesty in a man. There is absolutely nothing more intriguing; nothing that makes you believe in the fact of their incredibleness than in their own unwillingness to admit it.

A model man is a man of compassion, of integrity, of honesty, of truth, of individuality. Someone who lives life by his own set of values and beliefs. A man with goals, with a purpose, who lets this purpose be the reason why he enjoys life, as opposed to letting it be the reason he doesn't. A model man is someone with a sense of humor, and who finds countless ways and occasions to use it.
