Heartfelt Memories
Not a flower that has bloomed
Nor a shiny silver moon
Has been captured in a snapshot
That could truly share its tune
Not a breeze along the seashore
Nor a tragedy at war
Has been captured in a snapshot
That could reveal its power
Not a heart that has been broken
Nor a cancer that's been cured
Has been captured in a snapshot
That expressed all which was feared
A photograph cannot replace
The snapshots of the heart
But it can bring back memories
A perfect place to start

Snap Shots

Wonderful memories, captured in time

Everywhere
In home sewn fare
I used to wear
A 70s child
Gone 80s wild
Perms, big hair
Snapshots, snapshots
