The tragedy of love is that no matter what,
I will always love you.
The tragedy of love is that no matter what,
You'll never feel the same.
The tragedy of love is that time and again,
I will forgive you.
The tragedy of love is that time and again,
You will undoubtedly cause me pain.
My love is unconditional, bonding, deep and pure,
That is the tragedy of my love.
I'll pretend the tears I weep mean nothing at all,
As the truth would destroy our love.
Because while bruises fade,
My love never will,
And that is the tragedy of love.
